VIVIAN LEUNG

Vivian specialises in civil litigation, with experience spanning commercial disputes, family litigation, and wills and probate matters. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021.

In her practice, Vivian has handled a range of contentious matters, including contractual disputes, debt recovery matters, and family proceedings. She has a year of experience in arbitration involving cross-border disputes, including acting for a Chinese client which resulted in a successful arbitral award against an Indonesian company, and has been exposed to arbitration matters with claim values in the range of approximately USD 1 to 6 million. Her experience also includes successfully defending against committal proceedings and resisting variation proceedings in a civil family matter. Vivian has experience in both court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution. In addition to contentious work, she has been involved in non-contentious cases such as the drafting and reviewing of agreements and non-contentious wills and probate matters.

Vivian has over five years of legal experience, including her time as a Legal Executive prior to admission and her subsequent years in practice. This combined background allows her to approach matters with a clear understanding of both legal and procedural considerations. She adopts a structured approach to her work, and communicates clearly while remaining attentive to the practical and personal aspects of each matter.
