Rabia graduated in 2013 with a LLB (Hons) degree and was called to the Bar in 2016. Aside from private practice, Rabia holds prior experience working for a statutory board.
Rabia has represented clients in in the Family Justice Courts, High Court and the Syariah Court in a variety of cases including but not limited to complex applications for Grant of Probate/Letters of Administration, applications under the Mental Capacity Act, variation applications, divorce matters and the administration of a Deceased’s estate which included a contested application before the High Court for the Deceased’s property to be sold or transferred.
Her work also includes advising clients on and drafting Power of Attorney, Lasting Power of Attorney, Wills (both civil and Syariah), Deed of Disclaimer and Deed of Family Arrangement.
Rabia has also been involved in a wide range of real estate matters such as transfer, sale, purchase, sub-sale, purchase of buildings under construction and transmission application for a property upon the death of the registered proprietor.
