Sze Kai was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2016. In his practice, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in collective sales and all types of conveyancing matters involving retail, commercial and/or industrial properties. He has acted for major financial institutions including the Central Provident Fund Board, and advised them on all legal aspects of real estate transactions. He has also acted for a variety of clients, both individuals and corporate entities alike, in the sale and purchase of private properties; sub-sale of properties; purchasing of properties in trust; fractional purchase transactions; transfer of properties pursuant to order of court; and redemption and refinancing of mortgage loans.
In terms of his collective sale experience, he has advised Collective Sale Committees, subsidiary proprietors, and worked closely with renowned property consultants, including Jones Lang Lasalle Pte Ltd, Knight Frank Pte Ltd, and CBRE Pte Ltd. Significant collective sales that he has been involved in include the following:
(a) collective sale of Amber Park, a residential development comprising 200 units;
(b) collective sale of Landmark Tower, a residential development comprising 139 units;
(c) proposed sale (by minority owners) of a commercial development comprising 88 units;
(d) proposed collective sale of a mixed-use development comprising 299 units;
(e) proposed collective sale of a residential development comprising 274 units;
(f) proposed collective sale of a residential development comprising 200 units; and
(g) proposed collective sale of a residential development comprising 40 units.
