Nethra Kaur

Nethra specialises in civil and commercial litigation, asset recovery, and insolvency. She graduated from the Singapore University of Social Sciences with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2023.

She brings more than ten years of prior experience as a Legal Executive and Paralegal in a Swiss investment bank and a Singapore law firm. This background has given her strong commercial instincts and a deep familiarity with complex, high-value legal work.

In practice, Nethra has represented clients in a range of High Court matters, including judicial management proceedings and appeals. She has acted in a High Court application to set aside a statutory demand of approximately AU$1.5 million and assisted a multinational corporation in obtaining a worldwide Mareva injunction. Her experience also extends to enforcement and recovery work, including examination of judgment debtor applications, garnishee proceedings, and writs of seizure and sale.

In addition to contentious work, Nethra advises on corporate and commercial matters, including the drafting of shareholders’ agreements, sale and purchase agreements, and employment contracts. She has supported significant transactions, including a S$11 million share sale involving a biomedical company.

Known for her analytical clarity, meticulous preparation, and practical, client-focused approach, Nethra is valued for her ability to manage complex and high-stakes matters with composure, precision, and commercial awareness.
