Rizuan graduated from the University of Manchester. He trained at B. Rao & K.S. Rajah under Mr Fazal Mohamed before he was called to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor.
He thereafter practised for some time at a mid-sized law firm before returning to B Rao & K.S. Rajah.
Rizuan is a general practitioner and deals in a wide area of practice including but not limited to Civil and Criminal Litigation, Family Litigation and Syariah Divorces. He is also well versed in Muslim Estate Planning involving nuzuriah, hibah and deeds of family arrangement.
Rizuan has a keen interest in civil matters particularly those involving companies and businesses. He also believes that it is essential to ensure that individuals are protected and not left stranded by companies and/or businesses that fail to deliver. He encourages companies/businesses to pen down their business agreements in clear terms whenever they enter into contracts.
His broad area of practice since his time as a trainee has seen him involved in a gamut of civil cases including those heard at the High Court. He has also assisted in criminal matters, including capital offences such as drug trafficking.
