Nico Lee

Nico is an associate in Emerald Law’s Civil and Corporate practice with a focus on commercial disputes and corporate matters. His practice areas encompass Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Start-up Fund Raising, Joint Ventures, IP licensing strategy as well as shareholder and other company related disputes. Nico regularly assists clients in the drafting of various commercial contracts, agreements, deeds, and other corporate documents and has experience representing clients in the High Court of Singapore. Nico has also assisted clients in the preparation of various SGX-ST compliant documents for the equity markets and corporate secretarial matters.

Nico believes that disputes are avoidable if commercial risks are identified early, negotiated on and intricately crafted into corporate agreements. Nevertheless, should a dispute arise, Nico will not hesitate to fight tooth and nail for his clients. Nico is interested in technology, fintech and med-tech companies and start-ups and is always happy to meet and speak to start-up founders who are enthusiastic about their products.
